The aim was to design a multi-functional commercial space. I chose to design a book store
with a coffee house within. The idea for design was to create a place of escape, away from
the hassle of life, into the man’s most interesting and leisure activity of reading. The walls of the mezzanine floor are made in glass block to capture natural light during the day.
